Virginia "Ginny" Reabe

Virginia L. "Ginny" Reabe, age 91, of Delmont, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born on December 12, 1931 in North Braddock, and was the last surviving of nine children of the late Clyde and Minnie (Hamilton) House. Ginny was a longtime member of Delmont Presbyterian Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher and youth fellowship leader. She was a Cub Scout den mother for many years of her sons' youth. Ginny loved all arts and crafts, especially painting. She had a ceramic studio in her home, often making gifts for someone special in her life. She was "unusually unusual", ornery and had a great sense of humor that will be greatly missed. Ginny was the mother of five loving sons, Kenneth (Cheryl), Jr., Kevin (Marcia), Keith (Barb), Brian (Patty), and the late Frank (surviving Maryann) Reabe; Grammy of eight grandchildren, Adam (Amanda) Reabe, Samantha (Josh) Loaney, Michele (Michael) McAllister, Dan Reabe, Kelly (Justin) Edge, Andrew (Sarah) Reabe, Melissa Reabe, and Jessica Reabe, and five great-grandsons, Owen, Owen, Leo, Lukas, and Micah. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; eight siblings; a son, Frank; and her former husband, Kenneth Reabe. Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Wednesday, May 31 from 2 to 5 PM at Delmont Presbyterian Church, 101 Church Street, Delmont, PA 15626. A worship service celebrating Ginny's life will follow at 5 PM, officiated by Rev. Anthony Catullo.
