Virginia R. Kubit

Virginia R. Kubit, age 82 of Monroeville, PA passed away on January 15, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at home. Virginia was born on March 24, 1938 to the late Francis and Ruth (Cruikshank) Gorman. She married the love of her life, Charles Kubit, on October 25, 1957. 

Virginia was most proud of all of her children and grandchildren. She was a lover of all animals and a grandmother to all. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; children, Rosemary Guadagnolo, Charles Kubit, Claudia (Scott) DiSaverio, Eric (Janet) Kubit, Lucy (Rusty) Burns, and Brian (Gina) Kubit; 10 grandsons and 1 granddaughter, Elizabeth Kubit; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Francy Fonzi, and Betty Abbott; son-in-law, Tony Guadagnolo; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister, Peggy Hudock.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Per CDC guidelines, masks are required upon entry and only 20 people are permitted in the visitation room at one time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 10:00 am at Christ The Divine Shepherd Parish at North American Martyrs Church, 2526 Haymaker Rd, Monroeville, PA 15146.
