Patricia Schutter Obituary

Patricia Ann "Nunnie" (Patek) Schutter, 86, of Jeannette, passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. She was born on February 26, 1935 in Penn Township, to the late Frank and Estella (Lacina) Patek. Pat was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother - always kind and generous to all. She was an excellent baker and cook, who was famous for her delicious pies...especially apple...and her amazing apricot and nut rolls for the holidays. Pat was an avid gardener with beautiful flower gardens surrounding her home. She loved to read and enjoyed travel. She donated her talent and time as a Sunday school teacher, Girl Scout and Brownie leader, president of Jeannette schools PTA, and constantly participated in her children's education and well-being. Pat diligently worked for the executive offices of L&S Machine Company of Latrobe, Jeannette Glass Company, and Hanlon & Wilson Co. of Penn Township. She is survived by her four daughters, Susan (Tom) Lippencott, Sharon "Holly" (John) Pacelli, Paulette (Dennis) Pipher, and Kimberly (Randy) Bair; nine grandchildren, Chad Lippencott, Adam (Melissa) Lippencott, Brendan (Caitlin) Pacelli, Erin Bair, Marisa Pacelli, Evan Bair, Isabelle Pipher, Lauren Deniro Pipher, and Tyler (Shana) Deniro-Pipher; great-grandchildren, Samuel, Jonah, and Gracelin Pacelli; and three sisters, Charlotte "Faye" Burger, Joanne Grove, and Beverlie (Al) Hunter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband and best friend of 54 years, Paul R. Schutter; and siblings, Frank "Bucky" Patek, Michael Patek, and Karen Patek. Friends will be received Saturday, January 15 from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, 724-744-2721.
