Mary Jean (Werber) Savage went to be with our Lord on Friday October 8, 2021 at ManorCare in Monroeville after a long illness. She was the wife of Alfred (Buddy) Savage, Jr. who she married 57 years ago in August 1964. She leaves behind her sons, Mark (Nicole), Keith, and Allan. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Addison, Marissa, Bailey (Alyshia), Army SPC Kyle, Carianne, Gage, Jordan, Jase and a great grandson, Jamison. She will be deeply missed by her niece and Goddaughter, Jessica and her nephew, Brian. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Joan Little. ‘Jeanie’ made many friends along life’s way that will miss the way she could light up the room with her humor and laughter. Jeanie enjoyed her weekly meeting at Dunkin' Donuts with her girlfriends, enjoyed playing the organ and also taught lessons at Trombino Piano and Organ. She planned many vacations over the years to Massachusetts and Connecticut to be with family. She was most proud of her pilgrimage to Medugorje, Bosnia to honor our Blessed Mother. She loved to attend Mass at Saint Colman Church and was a Eucharistic minister there for many years. Family and friends will be received Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 2-6 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). A Blessing Service will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery. The family wishes to thank ManorCare for the kindness shown to her during her stay there and to Heartland Hospice, especially to Sharon her nurse, and her aide, Jaime for providing her with the best comfort, care and compassion we could ask for. She truly enjoyed your visits and so looked forward to them. Donations may be made to Heartland Hospice or Alzheimer’s Association of PA. www.jobefuneralhome.com.
