Gabrielle Maldonato Kochasic

Gabrielle Maldonato Kochasic, age 29, of New Stanton, formerly of Penn Township, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 27, 2023. Gabby was born in Monroeville, PA, on February 28,1993, to Samuel and Renee (Fabri) Maldonato. She was a 2011 graduate of Penn-Trafford High School and a 2016 graduate of University of Pittsburgh (Magna Cum Laude). Gabby loved children and utilized her degree in education for teaching preschool and elementary education in the Penn-Trafford and surrounding school districts. In addition to teaching, Gabby enjoyed helping people with real estate as a licensed Realtor for Coldwell Banker Realty in North Huntingdon. Gabby loved theatre and music and utilized those abilities to create real estate videos with her mom, Renee Maldonato. In middle school and in high school, Gabby was passionate about playing sports including basketball, cheerleading and volleyball. She later became involved in theatre and chorus. Her favorite sports teams include Pitt football, the New York Mets, and WWE professional wrestling! Gabby loved the holidays and with great excitement and creativity she would decorate her home to share with others the fun and joy of each season. As the fun-loving young lady she was, Gabby had an enormous love for all things Disney! Gabby had a deep love for all animals, especially dogs. Her pride and joy were her labradoodles, "fur daughter" Rylee and Rylee's "fur brother" Murphy who lived with her parents. Anyone that Gabby interacted with was greatly impacted by her beautiful smile and loving nature. Gabby had a strong love for her Savior Jesus Christ and was passionate to share her faith with those around her. Family time was important to Gabby! Every summer since childhood, Gabby could be found spending family vacations at the beach at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Gabby married her sweetheart Matthew Kochasic on June 24, 2017. They have been together for ten years. In addition to her parents, Gabby is survived by her loving husband, Matthew; grandparents, Joseph & Peggy Fabri of Beaver Falls; sister, Alexandra (William) Chotiner; nephew, Wesley Chotiner (Gabby's "Bubba Boy"), who she loved so dearly; aunts, Julia (Jeff) DeSantes and Jodi (Josh) Fleishman; cousins, Jessalyn, Alexa, Rachel, Jeffrey, Haylee, Gracie, Sophie Rose, & Alaska; father and mother-in-law, Michael and Gayle Kochasic; grandmother-in-law, Janet Graham; brother-in-law, Michael C. (Desiree) Kochasic; and sisters-in law, Maegan Kochasic and Amanda (Justin) Marin. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which begins at 10 am and the service at 11 am at the Faith United Methodist Church, 305 Freeport Street, Delmont, PA.
