Frank J. Maldonado, 89, of Braddock, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021. He was born May 11, 1931 in Braddock, to the late Emilio and Carmen (Rameriz) Maldonado. Frank worked as a Steel Worker for the Edgar Thompson Steel Mill until his retirement. He was a proud Army Veteran, having served in the Korean War and fought in the battle of Pork Chop Hill. He loved to dance and would go dancing four to five nights a week. He loved animals, sports, especially the Steelers, and was a kind, sweet and simple man. Frank is survived by his children, Francis (Connie) Maldonado, Darla Maldonado and Robert (Terri) Maldonado; grandchildren, Sandra (Tony Gonzalez) Maldonado, Cheyenne (Clayton) Lebe, Anna (Justin Suchacek) Maldonado and Francis Maldonado, Jr. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren. There will be no services at this time. Private burial will take place at Woodlawn-Denmark Manor.
