Evelyn Marie (Ware) Grimes

Our beloved Evelyn Marie (Ware) Grimes, 90, peacefully left her home in Jeannette, PA, to be with her Savior on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Evelyn was a bright light in this world with a kind and gentle heart that made a lasting impact on many lives. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. She was born on July 1, 1932 in Broughton, PA, to the late Thomas & Catherine (Kohout) Ware. She is survived by her daughter, Judith (late John) Belak, son, Dwayne Grimes (Kat), granddaughter, Sarah Zill (Adrian), a niece, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Harry Grimes, and a son, Harry Dale Grimes, a sister, Kay Ware-Larkin, and a brother, Thomas Ware. If desired, a donation in Evelyn's name can be made to an animal shelter or the American Cancer Society, as these organizations were important to her. A celebration of our GG's life will be held on July 15, 2023 in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services.
