Darlys Jean (Ritson) Gaudi

Darlys J. (Ritson) Gaudi, age 86, formerly of Greensburg, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022. Darlys was born on July 1, 1935 in Claridge. She was a daughter of the late William and Ann (Rednock) Ritson. Darlys graduated from Penn Township High School in 1953 and then married Francis P. Gaudi in 1954. Darlys and Francis traveled extensively and lived in Europe and Asia. They made their home in Fairfax, VA. When they retired, they moved back to Pennsylvania. Darlys enjoyed crocheting, crafts, and playing cards and games with her family and friends. She also loved music, singing and dancing, and playing the keyboard. She was also an avid reader. She is survived by her children, Pamela J. (John E.) Long, Joyce E. (Greg) Cuccia, and Kevin P. Gaudi; five grandchildren, Stephanie Long, Christopher (Hally) Long, and Dalton, Holly, and Adam Cuccia; a great-grandson, Oliver Laurence Long; and many nieces and nephews. She loved them and was very proud of them all. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis P. Gaudi; a son, Keith F. Gaudi; three sisters and two brothers, Harry G. Ritson, Dorothy (John) Malachowski, Norma (Frank) Gallo, Nancy (Martin) Mlakar, and infant William Clifford Ritson; and nieces, MaryAnne (Lloyd) Green and Nancy Jean (John) Capozzi.
