Charles E. Christner Jr., 71, of Harrison City, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021, in his home. He was born March 8, 1950, in Buffalo, N.Y., to the late Charles E. and Anna Jane (Trout) Christner. For a number of years, Chuck owned and operated his own trucking company. He was a man who loved to tinker and could fix anything. He was good at shooting pool, liked Country-Western music and had a great sense of humor. Chuck is survived by his beloved wife, Janet (Ergan) Cartwright-Christner; son, Charles (Lauren) Christner III; daughter, Kayla Christner; stepson, Marc (Alejandra) Cartwright; stepdaughter, Autumn (James Kudrna) Myer; grandsons and a granddaughter; brother, Paul E. (Pat) Jacobs; sister, Linda (late Edward) Koshar; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or service at this time.
