Carl & Victoria Bajus

Carl "Jerry" Bajus and Victoria "Vicki" (Kratzenberg) Bajus, both 78 of West Mifflin, passed away tragically on Thursday, October 14, 2021. They married on September 7, 1963 and were lovingly together for 58 years. 

Jerry and Vicki enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially going camping with family and friends. Jerry would often play the guitar at camp, and with his extended family on the farm. They met at a bowling alley and to this day you could find them on Tuesday nights bowling with friends. Other hobbies that they enjoyed together were bird watching, dogs, concerts, and watching the Steelers play. Vicki was famous for her baked goods and large family dinners. She was a woman of great faith and believed in angels. Her happiest times were when her family were together. If Jerry wasn't eating Vicki's cooking, he could be found strumming away on his guitar, watching a Steelers game, playing golf or relaxing in his recliner. They will be deeply missed by their family and friends.

They are survived by their loving children, Michael (Danielle) Bajus, Jeff Bajus, Cindy (Bajus) Spreg, Karen Bajus (Rich Cosgrove), and Janie (Rodrigo) Lomba; grandchildren, Bryan, Lila and Cullen Bajus, Brieanna and Paige Bajus, Lyric, Vox, and Coda Spreg and Maxwell Lomba; Vicki's brother, Harry Kratzenberg and sister, Judy Jones; Jerry's sister, Janet Kowalczyk. They were both preceded in death by their parents and by many brothers and sisters.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 3-6 PM at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747), where a blessing service will immediately follow. The Blessing Service will be live streamed and a Zoom link will be posted on our website before the service starts. A Memorial Reception will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 12 - 4 PM at the West Mifflin Fire Hall # 3, 3722 Rodeo Dr, West Mifflin, PA 15122. The family would like to thank the West Mifflin Fire Department and all assisting Fire Departments. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in their name to your local volunteer Fire Department. Online condolences may be offered at www.jobefuneralhome.com.
