Age 73 of Monroeville, passed on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Beloved husband of 49 years to Suzanne; Loving father of Jennifer (Michael); Adoring grandfather of Antonio, Jesse, and Delaney; Cherished brother of  Brian, Robert, Craig, Terry,  and Erin; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wonderful parents Anna M. and Robert N. Holmes, and siblings Dorene and Michael. Ronald proudly served in the Air Force, and retired from the Union Railroad. He enjoyed life with his grandchildren, and taking beach vacations with his wife.  Friends will be received Tuesday, January 15, 2019, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. corner of Shaw & Triboro Avenues, Turtle Creek (412-823-1950), where a blessing service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am.
